Prompt:
Design a new publication in print and digital formats that is both informing and entertaining to potential readers.
Response:
A publication concept about the human experience in context of the human mind, designed and organized by the four lobes of the cerebral cortex. The unique navigation system encouraged similar interactions with both print and digital versions.

The abstract grid (the four lobes of the brain) served as the basis for the publication identity as well as the navigation.
The print publication was designed to reveal the content in a recessed panel.
The content is lifted from the recessed panel using the ribbon.
Each of the four square sections unfolds to show the content in both visual and written form.
When placed together, each section connects to illustrate how our brain works across the four lobes.
I designed each digital illustration to accompany the found written material.
The digital version of the publication added hidden touch and swipe gestures to allow for more engagement with the content.
